Business Analyst - Stablecoin Web3

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead a proof-of-concept (POC) and project delivery initiative with a major financial institution in Malaysia, focused on stablecoin integration and web3 infrastructure.

This role requires a unique blend of traditional financial services knowledge, blockchain expertise, and the ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a stablecoin project with a major Malaysian financial institution, from requirements gathering through implementation and evaluation
• Define project scope, objectives, success metrics, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including blockchain developers, compliance officers, legal advisors, and banking operations personnel
• Analyze current banking processes and identify opportunities for web3 integration and optimization
• Translate complex blockchain concepts into clear business terms for non-technical stakeholders
• Document compliance considerations and risk mitigation strategies for stablecoin operations

• 5+ years of business analysis experience, with at least 2 years in blockchain, cryptocurrency, or web3 projects
• Proven track record of leading pilot projects with financial institutions or enterprise clients
• Strong understanding of stablecoins, blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized finance concepts
• Solid understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptocurrency wallets
• Familiarity with Ethereum and other major blockchain platforms used for stablecoins
• Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and financial messaging standards (SWIFT, ISO 20022)
• Experience with data modeling, system design, and technical documentation
