Salesforce Solution Architect
- Pre-sales: Assisting the leadership team in scoping, planning, and onboarding activities associated with project resourcing and client projects, including involvement in pre-sales activities as required
- Facilitation of requirements gathering: Ensuring client solution requirements are understood and met by applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of the Salesforce platform to design optimal client solutions.
- Solution Architecture: Creating and delivering innovative, client focused Salesforce solutions through team leadership, strong teamwork, initiative, and collaboration.
- Delivery: Leading the delivery of assigned client projects in collaboration with the Project manager and contributing at all stages of project delivery in accordance with VisDM standards and principals.
- Execution: Lead by example by being hands on and deliver best in class custom solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Communication: Providing clear visibility on the status of all in-practice projects underway and planned
- Collaborative: Provide functional expert and authoritative advice, guidance and training within the areas of service and providing leadership in continuous improvement of delivery practices and adhering to VisDM standards;
- Stakeholder Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with client stakeholders throughout a project to maintain and develop the business relationship, ensure satisfaction with services provided, and identify opportunities for further growth;
- Partner Management: Liaising and working with technology teams and vendors (including Salesforce) to ensure alignment between technical and functional specifications and business objectives and to identify areas to reduce implementation efforts;
- Quality in Delivery: Leading quality management reviews and ensuring that all business and design requirements are met;
- Oversight: Maintaining oversight across all in-practice client projects via timely reviews and guiding and assisting delivery resources, as appropriate, to ensure successful project outcomes and adherence to VisDM standards
- Practice Growth (subject to available capacity): Adds value to the Centre of Excellence to establish governance around the solution aspects of the projects:
- Own the overall solution blueprint and roadmap for a complex engagement.
- Actively assist in pre-sales activities to understand high level scope and translating into a standard solution offering deal approach, solution plan, proposal, and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables, and the right collection of offerings
- Define standards for estimations and establish a review/validate process for the same during pre-sales and execution
- Design standards for solutions that derive maximum business benefits and leverage more value from our existing investment in Salesforce and relevant ecosystems
- Review the current processes and suggest areas of improvement.
- Helps in building the internal knowledge base, contribute to thought leadership and best practices.
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering/ Engineering
- Must have minimum 8 years of Salesforce Hands-on experience with Development and solutioning
- Must have 2-3 years of Architect Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Salesforce.com (SFDC) systems implementation experience (Service Cloud and Sales Cloud),
- Experience working with iterative and agile methodologies,
- Data migration experience
- Good analysis and solution designing skills
- Effective presentation and communication skills
- Strong experience in Salesforce.com consultancy required
- Knowledge in Design thinking and Agile Methodology
- Open to travel and overseas posting
- Must have Salesforce Application Architect Certification and other Salesforce certifications.
- Familiar with Public Sector experience is plus point
